The Balcony is Back
Ryde Superbowl in association with Completely Funked Up Promotions has now officially re-launched the Balcony Nightclub – and launch night went really well. With the Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate, and with 400ish stylishly dressed visitors, it was a tremendous start to our campaign of once again being the premier nightspot on the Isle of Wight.
With pop, chart and party classics playing all night, the clientele partied all night to the music played by the DJ’s Omar Lakhssassi and Stuart Murray on rotation. The local band Cornerstone went down a storm, so will definitely be re-booked. Omar is a well-known IOW Radio DJ and we were extremely pleased to welcome back Stuart who was previously a resident Balcony DJ.
The majority of party goers had pre-completed their Membership forms for the free of charge Balcony Nightclub Membership and this helped to speed up the entry process. Anyone on that list will get advance notice of new events and drinks promotions coming up.
On the night, the popular tipple for the guys was vodka and Morgan Spice and for the girls our cocktail jugs. Cheeky Vimto, Electric Watermelon or Woo Woo anyone? With a hen-do, a stag-do and two birthday parties in on Saturday – it shows the venue is still as popular for larger groups as for smaller ones. Every Saturday has a different style of music: Decades (from 60’s to 00’s), 90’s, Fully Loaded (Dance, chart and R&B), so come on down and experience the great atmosphere for yourself.
